Marlou Cornelissen

Marlou has over a decade of experience in creating positive impact in the social sector. She transitioned out of the CEO role of global charity (QS) World Merit where she managed strategic partnerships with, eg. the United Nations, positively impacting 450,000 people annually. Through this work and building the foundation blocks for Period Reality, she has established a vast network, based on often deep, personal relationships with people committed to supporting Period Reality’s work.

These relationships range from people representing companies like Google and PwC, but also institutions like the WHO and NASA and large social entrepreneurship networks like the Skoll Foundation and Opportunity Collaboration. She has spoken at some of the most prestigious global venues, including the British House of Parliament, the United Nations Headquarters, and the Vatican. She holds a Master’s degree in Health, Economics, Policy and Law from the Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
